Project Introduction
The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bosch Group in South Africa, mainly responsible for the design and manufacture of automated production lines, as well as the design and production of non-standard automation. The company purchased a rail car, a low-voltage rail powered rail car. Special requirements: with roller table, fully automatic control.
This project is a sub-project of pallet loading and unloading line, the system consists of ground track, rail transport vehicle, ground roller conveyor line, and central control system.

Rail Turntable / Transfer Car is a key auxiliary device designed to solve directional switching problems in track networks. Its core function is to provide horizontal rotation for rail vehicles or heavy equipment, enabling precise connection and switching between tracks of different directions without changing the vehicle's own orientation.

- Employing a high-precision slewing bearing or gear drive system, the rotational positioning accuracy reaches ±5mm, achieving millimeter-level alignment of multiple rails and significantly improving transfer efficiency.
- It replaces traditional shunting locomotives or complex switch systems, providing the most efficient reversing solution in space-constrained areas.
- The overall steel structure design allows for customized load-bearing capacities from several tons to hundreds of tons, stably supporting and rotating fully loaded flatcars, molten steel ladles, or heavy equipment.
- It supports multiple operating modes, including local button control, wireless remote control, and automatic sensor control (such as automatic start upon vehicle arrival).
- It can be easily integrated into the factory's PLC central control system, becoming an intelligent node in a fully automated logistics line, enabling unmanned operation.
