Heavy Duty Turntable Transfer Cart

The heavy-duty rail turntable is mounted at track junctions to facilitate track switching for electric rail transfer carts. Matching rails are laid on the turntable deck to allow the rail cart to fully drive onto the rotary platform. Driven by a motor and reducer unit, the turntable rotates to a preset angle for precise alignment with the target track, enabling fast track conversion for the rail-mounted transfer cart.

One or more rails are fixed on the turntable surface, with the same elevation and gauge as the ground main rails. After the rail cart travels fully onto the turntable and stops, the turntable rotates to the designated angle for seamless rail docking. The rail cart restarts and runs along the new rail to the target position. As essential equipment for rail-bound material handling systems, it solves on-site track conversion demands perfectly.

The turntable's rated bearing capacity takes both the dead weight of the rail transfer cart and cargo weight into account. Rotation angles are fully customizable to match on-site operational demands. Working Principle

It keeps rotating until the rails on the turntable match the ground target track perfectly. After precise docking, the transfer cart travels steadily along the vertical track to finish track conversion and direction adjustment.
