Steel Coil Car

Steel coil car is an electric flat car that solves heavy-duty steel coil in workshops and factories. Some coils weigh several tons to hundreds of tons. The traditional forklift solution can not meet the actual needs. 

The steel coil car uses the vehicle battery under the electric flat car as the power source. The DC traction control system controls the DC traction motor to rotate, and the wheel is driven by the reducer to start, stop, advance, retreat, accelerate, decelerate and so on. The V-shaped bracket is mounted on the surface of the electric flatbed to prevent rolling and falling off of the steel coil. The bracket can adjust the distance according to the diameter of the steel coil at the same time. The V-shaped bracket is connected to the steel coil car body and can be disassembled at any time to transport other materials. We can design according to the use in the workshop, the size and weight of the material and the steel coil car can be used in a variety of occasions and harsh environments.

Common types of coils are steel coils, aluminum coils, steel pipes, cable reels or tires. These cylindrical workpieces are transported. In order to avoid the sloshing of the workpiece during transportation, the V/U frame is fixed on the flat surface. The position of the workpiece is achieved for safe production.

The V/U frame fixed to the electric flat car determines the distance and quantity according to the size of the workpiece and the number of single transports. The user informs us of the size of the workpiece, and our technicians can design a plan that satisfies the user. The V/U frame of the steel coil car can be selected: the V-frame can be adjusted and the fixed V-frame welded to the table. We can also design other models if the customer needs it.
