The smelter transfer trolley is a flatbed material handler capable of free travel without fixed rails. It adopts an integral box-shaped metal structure and supports two control modes: wired pendant control and wireless remote control for forward movement, braking and steering operations. Battery power serves as the primary power source for smelter transfer carriages. Perfect offers two battery options for customers: flooded lead-acid maintenance batteries and maintenance-free batteries.Flooded lead-acid batteries require regular maintenance and serve for 2 to 3 years, while maintenance-free lead-acid batteries deliver a service life of 3 to 5 years. As long as the battery is fully charged, the trackless transfer cart supports continuous long-distance operation without mileage restriction. It has low requirements on pavement conditions and works stably on conventional hardened factory floors.

The traveling and steering of the trackless transfer cart are realized via a four-wheel layout: two driving wheels plus two universal caster wheels. Three wheel types are optional: solid rubber wheels, solid cast steel wheels, and cast steel wheels covered with polyurethane cladding. The four wheels bear both the dead load of the vehicle frame and the weight of transported goods jointly. Connected with reducers and drive motors, the two drive wheels deliver tractive power for the entire cart. During steering action, the inner universal caster stays locked in position while the outer caster rotates freely to achieve smooth vehicle turning.
