Practical Guide for Comprehensive Maintenance and Care of Material Transfer Vehicles
1. Weekly maintenance (focus: lubrication and cleaning)
Lubrication parts: Add lithium based grease (recommended NLGI grade 2) to the wheel bearings, steering knuckles, and hydraulic lifting rods (for models with lifting function), and add it each time until new oil overflows from the gaps to avoid excessive pollution.
Cleaning and maintenance: Use a high-pressure water gun (pressure ≤ 8MPa) to clean the oil and dust on the vehicle body, and pay attention to avoiding electrical components such as battery interfaces and motors (which can be covered with waterproof cloth); The transfer vehicle in the electronic/dust-free workshop needs to use a dust-free cloth dipped in alcohol to wipe the cargo hold to avoid dust residue.
2. Monthly maintenance (focus: power and transmission system)
Electric vehicle models:
Detect the individual voltage of the battery pack (using a multimeter). If the voltage difference between individual cells exceeds 0.2V, balanced charging is required (some smart chargers come with this function) to prevent uneven battery decay;
Check the wear of the motor carbon brush (replace if the wear exceeds 1/3), clean the carbon powder inside the motor to avoid short circuits.
Quarterly maintenance (focus: structure and control system)
Structural component inspection: Use a torque wrench to check whether the torque of key bolts on the frame (such as tire fixing bolts and motor fixing bolts) meets the standard (refer to the manual, usually 80-120N · m), to prevent bolt loosening and component detachment.
Hydraulic system (models with lifting/steering functions): Check the hydraulic oil level (if it is lower than the oil mark, add hydraulic oil of the same model, such as L-HM46 anti-wear hydraulic oil); Observe whether there is leakage in the hydraulic pipeline and sealing ring. If there is leakage, replace the sealing ring and check whether the pipeline is aging.
Intelligent Vehicle (AGV):
Clean the lenses of the laser radar and camera (using specialized lens cloth), calibrate the navigation positioning accuracy (pass the "return to origin" function test, with an error of ≤ 10mm);
Check if the communication between the scheduling system and the vehicle is stable, update the device firmware to the latest version, and fix potential vulnerabilities.
Annual maintenance (focus: comprehensive inspection and component replacement)
Core component replacement: Replace the battery coolant (if it is a liquid cooled battery) and brake fluid for electric vehicles; Replace coolant and transmission oil for fuel powered vehicles; Replace brake shoes (when worn out by more than half) and aging sealing rings for all vehicle models.
Performance testing: Entrust a professional organization to test the load capacity (load the rated load and drive for 500 meters, observe whether the vehicle body is deformed and whether the power is attenuated); Test the braking distance (when braking at a speed of 10km/h without load, the distance should be ≤ 3 meters) to ensure compliance with safety standards.
