1, Preparation before homework: Safety inspection is a prerequisite
Personnel qualification verification
Operators must undergo specialized training and be familiar with the structure, performance, and operating procedures of the transport vehicles they operate,.
Before starting the homework, it is necessary to confirm that the physical condition is good. It is strictly prohibited to operate the equipment after drinking alcohol, fatigue, or taking drugs that affect judgment.
Equipment appearance and core component inspection
Overall structure: Check the frame, guardrail, fork (if any), and tabletop for any deformation, cracks, welding point detachment, or other damage, and ensure that the connecting parts (bolts, pins) are securely fastened without looseness.
Walking system: The manual transfer vehicle needs to check whether the wheels (universal wheels, directional wheels) rotate flexibly, whether the axles are stuck or worn, and whether the braking device (if any) is sensitive and effective; The electric transfer vehicle needs to check the tire pressure (inflation wheel), wear of the driving wheel, and whether the braking system response is normal.
Power/transmission system: Check for oil leakage in the hydraulic cylinder, smooth lifting and lowering, and flexible operation of the hydraulic handle of the manual hydraulic transfer vehicle; Check whether the battery level of the electric transfer vehicle is sufficient (displayed normally), whether the power cord/plug is damaged, and whether there is any abnormal noise during motor operation.
Safety device: Check whether the warning light, horn device (electric/motorized type), limit device (such as lifting height limit), and anti slip pad (tabletop) are intact and effective.
2.Confirmation of homework environment
Clear obstacles in the work area, ensure that the passage is spacious (with a width not less than 1.2 times the total width of the transfer vehicle and cargo), the ground is free of oil, water, and debris, and avoid working on roads with slopes greater than the specified value (usually ≤ 5 °, refer to the equipment manual for details).
Check the lighting and ventilation conditions in the work area, and turn on lighting equipment at night or in dim environments; If working in narrow passages or intersections, warning signs or personnel guidance should be set up in advance.
3.Goods compatibility inspection
Confirm that the weight of the goods does not exceed the rated load of the transfer vehicle (load markings must be clearly visible, overloading is strictly prohibited), and the center of gravity of the goods should be centered or slightly towards the front wheel direction to avoid overturning caused by unbalanced loading.
Fragile, easily overturned, or irregular goods need to be secured in advance (using straps, barriers, etc.), oversized goods need to confirm that there are no height restrictions on the passage route (such as doors, beams), and oversized goods need to be evaluated for turning and passing safety.
Homework operations: Standardize processes to prevent risks
Specification for cargo loading and unloading operations
Loading: Slowly push the transfer vehicle closer to the cargo, ensuring that the platform/fork is in contact with the bottom of the cargo, and ensuring that the cargo is placed smoothly in the center of the platform; If lifting is required (such as hydraulic transfer vehicles), the operation handle should be operated smoothly to avoid shaking of the goods.
Unloading: Stop the transfer vehicle at the designated location and lock the brake (if any). After confirming that there are no people standing around, slowly lower the goods or directly remove them. It is strictly prohibited to pull off the transfer vehicle when the goods are not stable.
Driving operation requirements
Before starting, sound the horn to indicate and confirm that nearby personnel are paying attention; Maintain a constant speed while driving, and it is strictly prohibited to accelerate, brake or turn quickly, especially for electric transfer vehicles that need to control the speed (usually ≤ 5km/h).
When turning, slow down and observe the surrounding environment, leaving enough turning space; When encountering pedestrians, obstacles, or intersections, it is necessary to stop in advance to avoid them and wait until safety is confirmed before passing.
It is strictly prohibited to stand, sit, or place items unrelated to the operation on the transfer platform; Do not tow or drag the faulty transport vehicle (unless there is a dedicated towing device).
Special scenario operation taboos
High and low temperature environment: Avoid the hydraulic transfer vehicle from being idle for a long time at extreme low temperatures (to prevent hydraulic oil from solidifying). Pay attention to the heat dissipation of the electric transfer vehicle battery in high temperature environments to avoid overload operation.
Narrow space: When working in narrow areas such as warehouse shelves and workshop passages, there must be a dedicated person to command and blind driving is strictly prohibited; If the line of sight is obstructed, stop and confirm before moving.
Slope operation: It is strictly prohibited to park or drive on slopes unless the equipment is clearly marked as capable of climbing; If temporary parking is required, wedges must be placed under the wheels to prevent slipping.
