Rail Ferry Car

The Factory Materials Handling Electric Rail Ferry Transfer Cart consists of two parts.

The upper car usually powered by battery or internal combustion engine, used to transport goods, and the upper car can be equipped with a V-shaped bracket, a lifting platform etc.

The lower trolley can be powered by battery, cable drum or rail power. It is designed for underground operation. Rails are mounted on its platform to dock with workshop tracks, allowing the upper trolley to travel on multiple parallel tracks.

The Factory Material Handling Electric Rail Ferry Transfer Cart achieves fast, precise track switching between parallel rails, and a single ferry cart can serve parallel transfers for multiple transport vehicles.

The two rail ferry carts are equipped with independent control systems. Wired / wireless remote control and PLC modules are optional.

Compared with rail turntable platforms, this solution is more convenient and cost-effective.
