As the name implies, the large turntable car is to lay a track on a large turntable for the rail transporter to change direction on. The turntable can save space and is suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises with limited space. The running system of the turntable is relatively stable, and the rails are accurately docked. Proximity switches and positioning devices are installed to achieve smooth rail docking of flat cars. In addition, large turntable car can also be applied to the occasions such as the circular track and cross track of the equipment production line. The device can realize automatic unmanned control, that is, fully automatic electrical control.

The Turntable Rail Transfer Cart is a specialized material handling solution engineered for cross-track transport of rail-bound vehicles. In factory environments, it supports 90° rotation to enable rapid adjustment of railway vehicles and efficient vehicle scheduling-streamlining material flow and maximizing the utilization of track infrastructure.

Working Principle

A defining design element is the integration of guide rails directly onto the turntable. The operational process unfolds as follows:

The rail transport vehicle travels onto the turntable's integrated rails.

The turntable then rotates (either automatically or manually) until its rails are precisely aligned with the target track.

Once alignment is confirmed, the transport vehicle can seamlessly move onto the perpendicular (vertical) rail, completing the directional transfer.
