Ferry Transfer Carriage

This double‑deck ferry transfer unit consists of upper and lower rail‑guided carriages, built for rail switching among two or more parallel rail lines. The lower base carriage carries the upper trolley, and rails fitted on the base platform share identical gauge with ground‑mounted tracks, enabling the upper trolley to move on and off ground rails freely. Installation requires an excavated pit whose depth equals the overall height of the cart. This allows rails fitted on the platform to sit perfectly level with ground‑mounted tracks. Power supply solutions are selected based on actual travel length. Trailing‑cable power is preferred for travel distances up to 20 meters; this option delivers cost savings alongside a low‑height platform. Other power configurations should be adopted for longer‑distance operations.
