Battery maintenance

1) The surface of the battery, connecting wires and bolts should be kept clean. If the electrolyte overflows the surface of the battery, it should be rinsed with clean water in time. Do not let the clean water enter the battery during the rinsing process, so as to avoid battery leakage and increase internal resistance.

2) The connection of the battery must be kept in good condition. Always check whether the fastening nut of the battery connection cable is loose, so as to avoid sparks or burn out the pole.

3) No objects are allowed on the battery, and the positive and negative poles of the battery must not be directly connected to avoid short circuit and damage to the battery.

4) After the battery is discharged, it should be charged in time. If it is not used for a long period of time, it should be fully charged and placed, and recharged once a month to save the power.

5) During the use of the battery, due to the electrolysis and evaporation of the electrolyte water will cause the density to rise and the liquid level to drop (especially in summer), distilled water must be added in time, and other water sources must not be added.

Battery replacement instructions

1) When the single cells are assembled into a battery pack, they should be connected by welding to prevent sparks, reduce contact resistance, and ensure safe use and unblocked battery circuits under special circumstances.

2) When installing the battery, the polarity marks ("+" and "-") of the battery and the mark of the electrical appliance must correspond correctly. If the battery is incorrectly installed in the reverse direction of the electrical appliance, a short circuit or charging may occur, resulting in a rapid increase in the temperature of the battery.

3) In order to avoid short circuit of the battery pack, all conductive exposed parts shall be covered with plastic insulating sheath, and the wire connection interface shall be coated with sealant to prevent corrosion by mineral acid and ensure safe use.

4) Do not disassemble the battery when replacing the battery. When the battery is disassembled or separated, there may be contact between the battery components, resulting in a short circuit.

5) When replacing batteries, use new batteries of the same brand, model, and batch, and replace all batteries at the same time. When batteries of different brands and models or batteries of new and old are used together, due to the difference in voltage or capacity between different batteries, some batteries may be over-discharged.
